Great Plains Zoo
In the summer of 2022, I was contracted by the Great Plains Zoo to restore four environmental murals inside the monkey enclosures. Originally painted by artist David Seih, the murals had begun to chip and fade, so I carefully restored his work and sealed the walls to ensure they could be enjoyed for years to come. Following this project, I was commissioned to design and paint a new mural inside the zoo’s expanded Black Bear enclosure, drawing inspiration from the colors and landscapes of the species’ natural Pacific Northwest habitat.
