Arlington Mural

In the summer of 2022, I was commissioned to restore and reimagine this 100+ foot mural in Arlington, SD. Originally painted in 1989 by Clyde Hyuck during his residency with the South Dakota Arts Council, the mural had significantly faded and began to show signs of wear, with sections chipping away. To honor its history while giving it a contemporary update, I preserved many elements of the original artwork. This restoration was made possible through funding from the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
