City Council

In 2017, after years of civic engagement and encouragement from peers, I announced my candidacy for the Central District seat on the Sioux Falls City Council. After months of campaigning and fundraising, I edged out my four competitors to earn the highest number of votes, making it to the runoff election. Sadly, the night of the election I ended up falling short of victory by only 2.6% or 149 votes (but hey, who's counting?).
