Hello, I’m Zach!
I’m Zach DeBoer—an artist, educator, and longtime Central Sioux Falls resident. For years, I’ve worked alongside neighbors, schools, and community groups to make our streets safer, strengthen neighborhood connections, and create public spaces that reflect the people who live here. From traffic calming and school safety projects to public art and placemaking efforts, my work has focused on practical, community-driven solutions that make everyday life better.
I’m running for City Council because I believe local government works best when it listens, plans carefully, and puts people first. I’ll focus on smart, fiscally responsible investments, maintaining and improving what we already have, and supporting strong, livable neighborhoods across Central Sioux Falls. I’m committed to showing up, asking hard questions, and making thoughtful decisions that serve our community—now and for the long term.
